| (1) A Commitment to Reach People |
We believe that we should love people the same way Jesus did. We believe that during his time on earth Jesus was not only concerned about meeting people’s spiritual needs, but also their physical needs. We believe as a church we should strive to follow that same model, if we are going to be effective in pointing others to Jesus.
| (2) A Commitment to the Bible |
We believe that the Bible is God's perfect message to man. We believe that the Bible has the power to change lives both now and for all eternity. We believe the Bible is just as relevant for today's culture as it was the day it was written and should be taught accordingly.
| (3) A Commitment to Creativity and Relevance |
We believe that one should never bore people at church. We believe that we must teach the Bible in exciting ways without compromising its truth.
| (4) A Commitment to Worship |
We believe that God is worthy of all worship and praise. We believe that everything that we do as a church should bring honor and glory to God alone.
| (5) A Commitment to Prayer |
We believe that prayer is critical to all believers who desire the power to do the work God has commanded us to do. Through prayer, the believer can worship God, present requests to God, gain courage and direction for daily living, ask God to bring unbelievers to Him, and strengthen the church.
| (6) A Commitment to Stewardship |
We believe that all of our possessions, gifts, talents, time and lives belong to God. We believe that it is required of us, as temporary owners of God’s possessions, to be responsible with what God has entrusted to us. We believe that believers should give back to God and his work as he has blessed us.
| (7) A Commitment to Unity |
We believe in unity within our church, made possible through the Holy Spirit. We believe that we do not serve a God of confusion and that we should ask for God’s guidance on every decision.
